I’m using 2 of my fabric collections with FIGO Fabrics:
• Butterscotch
• Squeeze

I love when fabric collections meld together nicely. The pinks and oranges in this quilt are my favorite! Along with that backing fabric….

Dana! Thank you! I’ve have been wanting to make a quilt forever, and there are resources but I haven’t found one yet that was beginning to end, what a beginner needs to know. I can’t wait to use this to make my very first quilt!! You’re awesome!

Awesome! Thanks Toni! And yes….that’s how I felt too….there’s SO much quilting info out that it feels overwhelming to get started. So I hope this helps you out!
      🙂

Dana, you are so inspiring! I have made a half dozen quilts … I’m not exactly a newbie? …but I have definitely had one “in progress” for a long time and just couldn’t find the interest to get back at it. I watched your whole video just for fun. You always make things so accessible. I feel like I might just pull that quilt out and finish it. 🙂

Dana, I can’t thank you enough for posting this amazingly helpful video tutorial. This is my first quilt! I’ve been working on a twin size version for my daughter and am about halfway through the quilting step. My machine is a bit of an old beast, and you’ve made me seriously consider upgrading to a Baby Lock! Anyway, this has been such a fun project and your teaching is so thorough. I ‘m really grateful. And I love stripes, too!

    Hi Mrs. Dana!
My name is Elizabeth Angell, I am 11 years old, and I just recently sewed a scrunchie and a circle skirt by watching your videos! You have such amazing videos and I absolutely love what you make! I’m currently working on a 2-layer circle skirts for my friends, but I do not have an iron at the moment. Do you have any suggestions that “substitute” ironing? I really love how my original double layer circle skirt came out! Thank you so much for all your amazing tutorials and videos! Have a great afternoon!

  6. 7) Jeannette Gonya

Hi Dana! You inspired me to try this quilt. Is any brand of rotary mat good? Not understanding the different lines running through it. Thank you!

  7. 8) Nancy Metz

I have been trying to sew for years. I have done ok, everything was self taught. I am not sure how I found you on YouTube. I binge watched a bunch of your tutorials. I cannot thank you enough for all the help. I learned so much from you!
I made the strippy quilt for a friend my husband said it is the best baby quilt I have made so far. I will keep watching! ❤️
