Celebrating Mom kick-off: NO-Sew Flowers

Today we begin our Celebration of MOMs!
But really, it’s more like a celebration of Women. It just so happens that Mother’s Day is coming soon (on Sunday 5/9) and it seemed like the perfect time to share all sorts of girly ideas to make for gifts, share with friends, and enjoy for yourself.
If you’re not a mom, or if Mother’s Day has a bad ring in your ear, no worries!

The next few weeks are all about enjoying the girlier things in life. So sit back, read, but don’t get too comfortable. We hope you’re ready to tackle our projects! And today, I’ve got a super simple one for you. NO-sew flowers.

—————————————————————–

Wish your man brought home fresh flowers for you every day?
Well, show him a surprise and make your own NO-Sew flower bouquet!

I scoured the internet, looking for a simple “fabric flower” tutorial and though some of them were “simple”, there were still too many steps! There had to be an easier method.

And, here it is.
Fabric flowers that you don’t even sew.
Just some fabric scraps, wooden dowels, and a little dab of glue. That’s all you need. And a bit of spray paint, if your stems need a color pop.
Try any color combo you like…..
These flowers are E-A-S-Y. You’ll have a whole bouquet made in an hour to decorate your home,
or to give as gifts for each woman at your Mother’s Day get-together. If I still lived near my family, this is what they’d all be getting!
(with a little message attached).
Ready to make your own?
You’ll find the complete Tutorial HERE
(and in the TUTORIALS tab at the top)

Make sure you grab a Celebrating MOM button in the right Sidebar. There are two colors to choose from, so just pick your favorite! (scroll down all the way in each box to copy the entire code, then paste that info into an “html” widget on your blog).

Enjoy!
And don’t forget…..we’re celebrating with Ruffles And Stuff as well! See what Disney’s sharing HERE:
