It’s been ages since I posted anything boy. Sorry little buddies. This pants/shirt combo was a shower gift for a friend who just had her baby yesterday. Can’t wait to meet the little guy!
The pants are made of very light-weight seersucker. With orange lined pockets, wide cuffs, and buttons on each cuff so the length can be extended as he grows taller. The design is similar to Goose’s pants here. The shirt was made similar to my other boy shirts, using a cut-up onesie as the pattern. One day I’ll make both sides even.
And since sizing is definitely my weak point….the pants turned out a couple sizes larger than the shirt. Whoops. I’m sure both items can be integrated with other things down the road.
It’s nice to sew straight manly lines from time to time.
