Hello friends! Hope you had a lovely weekend and Happy Earth Day to all.
First up, thanks for entering the Consumer Crafts Earth Day giveaway we hosted last week. The lucky winner is #4044 Ellen T! We’ll email you with details.
Secondly, you really need to check out Consumer Crafts because they’re super easy to order from and they have FREE Shipping for Earth Day! Here are four DIY projects we made using their stuff:
• Washi Tape Vases from Make and Takes
• Upcycled Carvinal from Prudent Baby
• DIY T-Shirt Necklaces from Petit Elefant
• Tin Can Caddy from MADE
Third, if you’re looking for a fun upcycle project, check out our Earth Day Pinterest board.
Some simple favorites:
Cheese Grater Pencil Holder • DIY Tap Shoes • Nature Wreaths • Old Chair = New Chair
And how about these three ideas? That vinyl record chandelier is genius.
Paper Butterflies • Musical Chandelier • DIY Water Wall
Have a great Monday!
When my cousin and I were in college we stuck tacks into the bottom of our shoes and went “tack dancing” through the stores. So stupid but sooooo funny!
This is a wonderful way to lift one’s spirits. You are a quick (and survival motivated) thinker. Clever, clever, clever… I’ll remember this one for sure. 🙂
By the way, Dana, were you ever a contestant on “America’s Next Top Model?” I swear you look just like one of them named Joanie a few years back. Oh well, keep your pretty smile smiling.
Grandma Terrie (See, now I’m old enough that I can compliment people without them thinking that I have ulterior motives…I love it!)
