DAY 11

Dark Chocolate Bordeaux (and throw a dark coconut honey in there too)
Every year under the tree my mom and my mother-in-law both have a 2 lb box of See’s chocolates, desperately waiting to be unwrapped. And though there are plenty of sweets in the house at the holidays, I will never say no to a See’s chocolate. Never. It’s the perfect breakfast snack to pass around the room while opening gifts! My husband’s family are milk chocolateirs, while I’m a dark lady. So my sweet mother-in-law Linda always makes sure there’s a few dark bordeauxs in there among the milk chews and creams. It really puts the pressure on to eat my share. Isn’t it great?!
So if you’re out Christmas shopping at the mall today, pick up a chocolate or two or three and a sucker for the kids. Happy Holidays!
