When I created the Baby Doll Basket pattern last year….before we all entered a space time continuum where phrases like, “Olaf! you’re melting” or “Let’s go kiss Hans! Who IS this Hans?” became common phrases in any household….
I mean, has it only been ONE year since Frozen came out??….and my kids made their own ornaments….and kids started wearing Elsa dresses to the grocery store?
It feels like a decade.
Well, who knew when I made this basket last year that it would be the perfect color and size to hold an ice princess?? Or two.
Or FOUR?
Haah.
Have you seen these dolls?
They’re maybe a little….creepy….But my kids love them.
Anna on one side, Elsa underneath; and vice versa. So you can flip the dress over and decide which princess you want to be. I guess it keeps kids from fighting over toys! They can be either one.
And the medium size basket fits these dolls perfectly.
So.
Have you made a baby doll basket?
Do you have some last-minute Christmas sewing to do?
Let me help you out!
(or give you more work??)
From now till Christmas, the Baby Doll Basket pattern is on sale!
AND….
I’m also giving away FOUR free copies!….one for each of your crazy flip-flop princess dolls.
Four winners will receive an email copy of the PDF pattern by Saturday morning, so you have plenty of time to sew (heh heh)
GIVEAWAY RULES:
• Leave a comment, that’s it.
• Only one entry per person.
• Open to ANYONE!
• FOUR winners will be picked via random.org
• Giveaway ends Friday 12/19/14 at 10pm Central time.
Oh, I’d love this pattern- and one of those dolls. Can you give us a link?
We bought them at the Downtown Disney store in California….so I’m not sure where else to buy them?? Sorry! I looked for a link but can’t find anything other than ebay. I would search under “Anna and Elsa flip dolls”
Thanks. I’ll check it out. If I find a link, I’ll post it here. 🙂 Merry Christmas!

I’d love a pattern to make for my nieces. They all all carry around their babies. 😉
I had one similar to this growing up with miles of lace and ruffles. It would be fun to keep the tradition alive with my girls. Although, I think they would likely use it to haul rocks and dirt rather than a baby doll…
Fantastic pattern! Would be perfect for my 2 years old daughter. 🙂
I’d love this pattern to make for the little ones in my family!
My little girl would love this!
Oh my gosh! That basket is just too cute and those dolls! I must make that. My 2 yr old Granddaughter, who lives with us and her parents would go nuts. Even better is that I’ve been looking for a flip doll pattern to make for her and what better than it to be this awesome doll/s from Frozen!
I won’t get a thing done now until Saturday as I’ll have my fingers crossed on both hands until that time. Of course, it also means I’ll need to throw everything off my cutting table to allow me to actually find my machine too. LOL

Hi Carol,
This post is from 2014, so unfortunately the sale is now over.
Could you use Soft and Stable in place of High Loft batting?
Hi,
I am about to make a basket for my daughters new doll and stumbled over the seam allowance. The lining is sewn larger (with 1/4 inch seam allowance) than the outer fabric (1/2 inch seam allowance)? Or should it be vice versa?
Thanks!
Sooo pretty. Just what I’ve been looking for to make for my Granddaughter’s 1st Birthday when I visit her in New Zealand. X
I have 3 granddaughters that would LOVE the baby basket. They are so adorable. Thank you for sharing this.
