Last Day for Pattern Sale!

THANK YOU for your enthusiastic response to the new Summer Day Top pattern! I’ve already started to see some versions popping up, and oh my gosh, they just make me want to run to my studio and sew. And then run to my favorite taco shop with friends. That’s always a good idea.

I watched your crib sheet tutorial about ten times. I got up my nerve and made it last night. Since nobody in the family has a little one. I took it out to my Walmart and they let me put it on a display. Well it fit perfectly. I made the one with the casing. I have also made lots of burp cloths.

Hello. Dana thank you so very much for your fab videos. I’ve always been rubbish at sewing. Then I discovered you on YouTube. I have made so many skirts, bags and pairs of shorts! I feel very smug and wholesome! Please can you consider doing videos for how to sew mens shorts?? I really want to make some but I don’t know how to do it without your smiley little face telling me how!!

The version that I have suggest that we print on 36 X 81 paper. This would have to be done at copy shop. Hope to use this for 4-H and was expecting it to be printed on regular home printer (paper 8 1/2 X 11)

    Please advise…..

Hi Dana! I love this pattern!! I plan to make tons of tops! I have some rayon that my daughter gave me. I have a question about rayon: I have a hard time finding just rayon without it being a blend. Which blend would work for this pattern and leave it flowy like? It used to be easy to find but now it’s a mystery to me. Thank you!!
