ruched linen bracelet

A while back I made a linen bracelet.
I used leftover scraps from my blue linen shirt and since you know how much I love linen, the project was inevitable. When I purchase a yard every bit must be used!
It’s a work in progress but the first round turned out okay (largely due to the cool vintage buttons sent to me by Vintage Fern. Thanks again Amy!)
The bracelet is made of two layers of fabric, sewn together in a tube, turned right-side out, and then top stitched closed. The outer layer was ruched (gathered down both sides) before sewing the layers together. And of course the buttons add a little punch.
I’ll keep working on it and share a tutorial down the road. These would make a very simple gift.
Have a great beginning of the week!
