Pearls and Pumps Apron with GUEST: Delia Creates

I’m so excited to share today’s Celebrate Yellow guest with you. I don’t remember how I found her blog but once I did, I was hooked. It’s Delia! From……
Delia is a mom just like you and me. She has two darling boys, she cooks, she sews, she enjoys life. And her blog is a reflection of that. Her creations are beautiful, not over-thought, and inspiring. But what I probably love most are her gorgeous photos (most of my favorite blogs have pretty pictures. Mmmm. I love good eye candy)
And just when she claims she’s “new to sewing” she creates cool things like these (with tutorials to go along!)
This is why I love Delia, and what she creates.
And lately she’s had yellow on her mind too! So let’s hear from the lovely lady herself……

Hi…
I’m Delia from delia creates. I am so excited to be celebrating YELLOW with Dana and all of you today! Since I discovered the fabulous world of craft blogs, I have been a faithful reader of Dana’s blog. I am relatively new to sewing and I swear I have learned more from following her tutorials than in any other way. So, as you can imagine, I am pretty stoked to be here guest posting!

Now let’s talk about YELLOW!
It seems like the IT color lately. Even with it changing from Summer to Fall here in my part of the world, it seems to be sticking around, especially in mustard tones. It has definitely been on MY brain a lot lately and popping up in my projects.

In THIS wreath:
I made one of my ear warmers yellow too…
And another project to add to the list today, just perfect for Fall baking season…a yellow apron!

I call it my Pearls and Pumps Apron.
Even though this is how I look most days:
I can slide into this beauty and feel a little more like this:
A pretty little housewife. šŸ™‚
So come on over and I will show you how to make one too!
You can find the complete Pearls and Pumps Apron Tutorial HERE on Delia Creates.
Thank you for the Yellow Inspiration Delia!
