Happy Mother’s Day to you wonderful women out there. I hope your day was a nice one. I can’t say our’s was the most pleasant but it ended on a high note with yummy dinner and (finally) happy kids!
I started this dress months ago made out of an IKEA curtain (from the As-Is section; a great spot for refashioning supplies!) It was first worn plain-jane style for a dinner party with girlfriends, then I added the white fabric hem on the bottom for Easter Sunday, but I knew it needed trim on the collar and sleeves. So I finished it off this morning and it became, the Mother’s Day Dress:
