Book Signing recap and finally, going home.

And one week later I’m here to report that….the book signing in Atlanta went great!
Isn’t it a gorgeous city?
I’ve been on the road for almost a month now, so many cities are melting together in my mind. But who can forget those green trees, gorgeous homes, and yummy donuts in Atlanta (mmm. Sublime Donuts). Of course I could say the same thing about Charleston, Savannah, Asheville, Southern California….(don’t worry, a travel post is coming).

And hanging out at Whipstitch was definitely a highlight of the trip.
If you’ve never been, I highly recommend it.
Me and Deborah, who owns and runs the shop. She teaches sewing classes too!
Throughout the night, people popped in, we chatted, drank yummy fruit sodas, signed some books, and bought a lot of fabric.
I couldn’t stop looking at this Lizzy House quilt on the wall. Really cool.
Some local fabric celebs stopped by which made the night even more fun. Melody Miller who designs Ruby Star Rising and has a new book coming out. And Rashida of I heart Linen who’s written a few books as well, and has a new fabric line coming this fall with Cloud 9. These girls are great conversation. I want Rashida’s hair.
More blogging friends! Amy from Mod Podge Rocks stopped by (Check out her cool book here). Tiffany from Simply Modern Mom was there. And on the right is new friend Hannah who has a darling southern accent and teaches local sewing classes.
Thanks friends for stopping by! I loved having enough time to really chat and get to know some of you. And a huge thanks to Deborah and her shop for making it all happen.
More signing dates/locations to come!
