I hate to show my hand right off the bat, but seriously…..how fun are these photos?! And how excited are you about this simple, fun, useful, and rad duffel bag? I’m very excited.
And it’s all coming from my favorite understated blog: Saltwater Kids.
Emily is a mom of two darling boys and lives in the picturesque Northwest where they hang out in their small town, kick around the beach, and spend summer afternoons fishing. I want to be a Saltwater kid too!
Emily is always coming up with brilliant ideas. She loves to sew and she loves craft with her kids.
She makes Fort kits, cool printable graphics, and all sorts fun shorts for her boys. And when she’s making one….she might as well make 30! Check out her Halloween puzzles and Gathered Clutch stack. Impressive.
Today Emily is sharing two cool ideas with us.
First, she’s hosting a giveaway on her blog for a Deluxe Fort Kit. I’m pretty sure any kid would be super excited to get this:
The RETRO DUFFEL bag Fort Kit includes:
- two twin sheets with ties attached
- suction cups
- HOURS of FUN!
Click HERE to enter (giveaway ends tomorrow, Friday 3/4 at Midnight)
And next, Emily put her creative mind to work for another cool sensation:
It only requires 1/2 yard of fabric, webbing, and a zipper. Easy! Let’s hear it for the Saltwater Kids! (and let’s hear from Emily herself…..)
I am absolutely thrilled to be here. There are so many amazing boy projects this year….my “must make” list is growing longer by they day!
Today, I am sharing a project that is as fun as my two silly boys – The RETRO DUFFEL bag, AND I’m giving away the ultimate boy gift – the Fort Kit!
Boys, boys, boys. They are so funny. The silly things they say and do keep me laughing all the time. In fact, as I was working on this post my three year-old came blasting by, one arm outstretched, clutching his toothbrush, shouting (in a deep manly voice) “Oh, Mr. Plaque I am coming to get you!” Dental Superheros make my day!
Does your silly boy need a Retro Duffel bag? Then head over and I’ll show you how to sew one up!
You’ll find the complete Retro Duffel Tutorial HERE on Saltwater Kids.
Thank you Emily. You’re one of my favorite blog stops!
Check out Whipstitch’s Snack Bandolier on Made by Rae today. Cool idea!
