Paisley Pink

Lucy went to a birthday party for her little friend Gwen. So I made the hobo sack in paisley pink.
The fabric is that same soft corduroy, (by Michael Miller?) that I used on Lucy’s blanket and I really love it. Seriously, I bought it a whim–it was on clearance– and now I wish I had 3 more yards of. I shouldn’t be too sad, though, I also have two yards of it in cream/tan sitting in my fabric stash.

I know I’m always talking about them, but I love having travel sacks for my kids! They still use theirs all the time. Whenever we’re headed out the door–for a drive that’s longer than 20 minutes–I ask, “did you get your bags?” And they both waddle out to the car with their hobo sacks and favorite toys. Then they’re entertained wherever we are!

For Gwen we also threw in a little gift pouch, decorated with hot pink lace and filled with m&m’s.
One simple gift ready to go!
Wrapped in tissue paper and a homemade card.
Happy Birthday Gwen!
