YOU’ve been Celebrating MOM

Just a small round-up of the things you’ve been celebrating. Based on Celebrating MOM tutorials and ideas, here’s what’s been cooking at your house….

Some of you have Summer Scarves ready to wear, or to give as gifts.

LEFT: From the Natalie Clayton blog, she made two-tone scarves with contrasting fabric on each side. Great idea.
RIGHT: Aligator Ali made the project even easier by using light-weight knit. No fussing with the edges, just leave them raw! And just gorgeous in yellow and white. Like you’re surprised by that comment.
These photos are stunning as well. I adore the fabric and the scarf display. From So Happy.
Little Big Girl Studio has been busy sewing all sorts of things. Among them, Noodlehead’s Gathered Clutch Tutorial:
And another one from Shelly Inspired, made from fat quarters, on-sale at Joanns. Woohoo!

No-Sew flowers! They were easy, right?
Mama Lusco Handmade created a lovely yellow and brown-toned bouquet:
and I’m sure you saw this cheery mix on Ruffles and Stuff. But I had to post Disney’s beautiful flowers again because, they just make me feel happy.
And lastly, I know that many of you have been doing THIS:
Your emails all seem to go something like, “I just made Carrot Cake! YUM…and now it’s all gone”.
Hooray! That makes me smile. And doesn’t that photo above just warm your heart? From LullabyLubbock, I want to play Mary Poppins and jump into the photo with him, so I can join in the fun (or just kiss his sweet little cheeks).

Thank you for sharing your creations with us!
If you’ve made something from our Celebration, please upload it to the YOU MADE IT flickr group. I’ll likely do another round-up if there are photos to share.

And please tell me you saw Disney’s Butterfly Collection pillow?? I need to stop everything and go make one. Right now.
